1623 Theatre will be performing Macbeth tonight at Cromford Mills.
With just three actors, Shakespeare’s fearful tale of greed and murder will be played out in the mill yard as the award-winning 1623 Theatre Company approaches the playwright’s inspirational work in new ways.
Grieving parents Macbeth and his wife crave self-promotion and speak some of the deadliest yet most beautiful poetry ever written. Will they stop at nothing to achieve their dream of ruling over all the land?
Catherine Roth, Events Officer at Cromford Mills, says: “Following the success of 1623 Theatre’s performance of Romeo and Juliet at the Mill, we are delighted to welcome them back for their performance of Macbeth, a show which promises a fantastic evening.”
£20 tickets include the performance at 7:30pm with a choice of a 2 course dinner and glass of wine at 6:30pm or 8:30pm. (Tickets must be booked in advance)
£15 tickets are for the performance only and a glass of wine. (Advance booking recommended)
It is advised to dress suitably for a Derbyshire summer evening.
