LOSCOE: Archers are targeting prestigious trophy

Over 120 archers will take aim at the Charles Hill Centre in Loscoe on Sunday, September 1, to compete for the prestigious Thoresby Trophy.

The annual inter-counties event was first held in 1958 in the Grounds of Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire.

The competition gets underway at around 9.30am with each archer shooting 12 dozen arrows and closes at 5pm with the presentation ceremony.
