Detective Constable Thor Long, who is investigating the allegation, said: "The town centre would have been quite busy at the time and I'd like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious.

"No witnesses have come forward yet.

"I will be checking local CCTV for evidence but I'd like to speak to anyone who was in the area of High Street between 9.30 and 10am."

Witnesses or anyone with information should call DC Long on 101, quoting crime number 22588/16, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
