Woman airlifted to hospital following Ambergate crash

A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital following a rush hour car crash in Ambergate.

The collision, which involved two 4 x 4 vehicles, took place on the A610 at around 4.45pm last night.

A female child was removed safely from one vehicle before a female adult had to be cut free by firefighters and flown to hospital.

Two men were also treated for their injuries at the scene.
