Volunteers are being sought to help out at Heage Windmill during the 2013 season.

Chairman of the trustees at the visitor attraction Alan Gifford said: “Our stalwart band of volunteers has been essential to the machinery restoration,undertaken tour guiding, archiving and running education and social  activities but with the passage of time, due to age, illness and some our initial key persons leaving the area. We are seeking some new recruits in both areas.”

The trust is holding training days at the mill on Saturday, March 16, at 10am and Sunday, March 24, at 2pm. For more information visit www.heagewindmill.org.uk.
