Hoping for a wonderful walk down Wembley Way basking in the spring sunshine tomorrow afternoon? Or perhaps a day out in Derbyshire? Think again because it’s set to be a miserable weekend of wet weather across the country.

The bank holiday weekend will kick off with a heavy rain and strong gusts throughout the day with temperature highs in Derbyshire at a measly 12 degrees (11 in London during Derby County’s play-off final match) which is unfortunately dismal in comparison to the wonderful weather we enjoyed over the last couple of weekends.

Sunday looks a lot more promising with very little rain expected throughout the day and temperature highs of 15 degrees.

The improved conditions will continue on into Bank Holiday Monday.
