Hundreds of people lined the streets this week to see cycling superstars Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish ride through the area as they took part in the Tour of Britain.

School children and members of the public waved Union Jack flags and cheered as the cyclists rode through Ilkeston, West Hallam, Stanley, Smalley and Duffield.

The cyclists passed through the area as part of Stage 2 from Nottingham to Knowsley, Merseyside.
