UFO spotted over Loscoe?
‘An intense bright white’, which lit up the skies above Heanor has had an internet forum buzzing with talk of a UFO sighting.
A post on popular website ufo-uk.co.uk by a Loscoe resident describes the phenomena, which allegedly took place on January 26, at around 10pm.
The user, who goes by the pseudonym ‘Dawn’, said: “I was sat on the floor in the living room talking to my boyfriend, facing the window, when outside I saw a massive white flash that lit up the whole sky. It only lasted a split second. It was like it had come from a ball of light, not like lightning.
“It definitely wasn’t a firework and we went straight outside to see If there was anything out there or an aeroplane or something, but the sky was clear. It was such an intense bright white flash. Did anyone else see it?”
Several users of the website, which aims to log reported UFO sightings across the UK, commented on the mystery Loscoe woman’s post.
One, written by a Sharon Boultby, who claims to live in the Heanor area, appears to confirm the sighting. She wrote: “It only lasted a couple of seconds and lit up the whole sky. Really amazed me.”
