Commuters and residents are facing the following traffic disruptions and delays today, Thursday, January 9, in and around Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

A6 Derbyshire - A6 Snitterton Road in Matlock blocked and delays at the Snitterton Road junction, because of flooding.

A38 Derbyshire - One lane blocked and queueing traffic on A38 northbound in Derby after Palm Court Island, because of a broken down lorry.

Derbyshire - The road is just passable on Bakeacre Lane in Littleover, Derby between the Doles Lane junction and the Moorway Lane junction, because of flooding.

Derbyshire - The road is just passable on Scropton Road in Scropton at the Leathersley Lane junction, because of flooding.

Staffordshire - King Edward Place (One Way) in Burton Upon Trent closed between the Rangemore Street junction and the A5121 Wellington Street junction, because of loose flag pole.

M1 Derbyshire - Slow traffic on M1 southbound between J25, A52 (Nottingham) and J24a, A50 (Derby).

A38 Derbyshire - One lane blocked on A38 westbound in Derby between Little Eaton Island and Markeaton Island, because of an accident.

A52 Nottinghamshire - A52 Brian Clough Way in Stapleford, Nottingham busy but moving at Bardills Island.

A52 Brian Clough Way Spondon, westbound between A5111 Raynesway and A61 Sir Frank Whittle Road.

A52 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way inbound in Spondon between the A5111 Raynesway junction and Pentagon Island.

A52 Nottinghamshire - Heavy traffic on A52 Brian Clough Way eastbound in Nottingham at Bardills Island.

A635 Greater Manchester - Heavy traffic on A635 Stamford Street westbound in Stalybridge at the B6176 Rassbottom Street traffic lights junction.

A5111 Derbyshire - Very slow traffic on A5111 Kingsway northbound in Derby between the A516 Uttoxeter New Road junction and Kingsway Island.
