A teenager has been airlifted to hospital with a broken leg following a road traffic collision in Ripley.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon (8th June). Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) was tasked to the incident at approximately 3:44pm and landed in a nearby car park 14 minutes later.
The patient, a 14-year old boy, was treated with advanced pain relief before being immobilised and airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for further treatment.
The crew arrived at the hospital at approximately 5:03pm.
