Teen moped rider dies in Far Laund collision

A teenager has died after his moped was involved in an accident with a car on Far Laund last night.

The 16-year-old, who is believed to be a pupil at Belper School, was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa at around 5.15pm.

Police closed the road until around 8.30pm and are appealing for witnesses to the accident to contact them on 101.
