Suspected drugs were found on a man in the street in Ripley, police have said.
Officers searched the 25-year-old after stopping him on Tuesday, January 15, on Wellington Street. They discovered what they believed to be cocaine and heroin. He was arrested and later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Meanwhile in Alfreton a house in Oakland Street was searched by officers.
A quantity of cocaine was seized and two men aged 27 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of possessing of a Class A controlled drug.
They have both been released on police bail pending further enquiries, said a spokeswoman.
