Super car blaze near Kilburn

A Lamborghini burst into flames on the A38 turn off near Kilburn after a failure in the car’s electrical system yesterday.

A fire crew from Derby city centre were called to tackle the blaze shortly before 2pm on Monday, January 16.

Two firefighters from the Nottingham Road station got the flames under control using breathing apparatus. Traffic delays were caused.

The driver was not hurt, with the Derby crew leaving the scene at 3pm.
