Stabbed man remains in hospital

A man who was stabbed in the neck in the early hours of Sunday morning remains in hospital.

Police are appealing for information after the incident at 4am on Sunday June 10.

Officers were called to Mill Street, Ilkeston, following reports that a man had been attacked.

The 19-year-old local man was taken to Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre for treatment.

His injuries are serious but not thought to be life-threatening.

A 19-year-old, from Ilkeston, has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He remains in custody and is being questioned by officers.
