South Normanton pub fire

Firefighters tackled a fire in a disused pub in South Normanton on Sunday morning.

The alarm was raised at 11.15am on Water Lane when smoke was spotted issuing from the roof space and first floor of the empty building.

Crews from Alfreton, Ashfield and Chesterfield attended and the aerial ladder platform was used to put out the flames.
