Sign up for mini triathlons

SPORT fanatics are being encouraged to sign up to two mini-triathlon events in Kimberley.

People can sign up to the Broxtowe Beginners and Juniors Taster Triathlons if they sign up by May 8.

Held on May 20, the beginners triathlon is a 200 metre swim, 7km cycle through local roads in Kimberley, Nuthall and Moorgreen and a 2km run within the grounds of Kimberley Leisure Centre.

The juniors event will take place entirely within the grounds of the leisure centre and involves a 40 metre swim, a 2km bike ride and a 212 metre run.

Entry is between £8 and £14 depending on the event.
