The Severn Trent Choir has been asked to support their old mentor Gareth Malone at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall as part of his ‘Voices’ tour on 1 June.

The choir was first established in spring 2012 for the first series of the BBC’s ‘Sing While You Work’, and under the guidance of Gareth went on to win the series. Two years later, the choir has gone from strength to strength and they are delighted to have been asked by Gareth to support him on his live tour.

Tamsin Slater from the choir said: “We’re privileged to be asked by Gareth to join in this fantastic event - it’s a great opportunity for the Severn Trent Choir. We love to show what great teamwork can achieve through our singing and it’s a real pleasure to be able to perform for our customers.”
