Road rage assault appeal

A WOMAN driver was pushed to the ground in an apparent road rage incident in Ilkeston.

She was driving her Vauxhall Corsa along Chalons Way when a dark green, 03 plate Range Rover overtook her.

As she turned off the roundabout on to Nottingham Road, the male driver followed her, driving aggressively.

After pulling over to let him pass, she got out of her car.

He also pulled over, got out of his car, grabbed her by her clothing and pushed her to the ground.

The assault happened at 2.05pm on Friday April 6.

The Range Rover driver was described as white, in his early 30s, 5ft 1ins tall with short dark hair. He was slim and spoke with a local accent.

Police also want to speak to a man who pulled over to speak to the driver afterwards.
