Rio gold medal hopeful given a car to use

Marlpool Paralympic hopeful Dave Ellis has been supplied with a car to use as he works towards his gold medal dream.

Derby dealership Motorpoint is loaning the current World, European and British Paratriathlon Champion with a liveried Fiat 500 to use to drive him to training in Loughborough as well as events around the country.

The 28-year-old firstburst onto the scene while a teenager as a swimmer, when he represented Great Britain at the IPC World Championships in Durban in 2006 and at the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2008. He is now a paratriathlete and is aiming to land a tope medal at the 2016 
Parlympics.

Satvir Atwal, general manager of Motorpoint said : “We’re delighted to have teamed up with Dave Ellis to drive forward his challenge for Rio 2016. He’s an exceptional Paralympian and we’re thrilled.”
