Langley & Denby Pottery Collectors Society

Langley & Denby Pottery Collectors’ Society heard a talk called ‘My Unusual Pieces’

The latest meeting of the Langley & Denby Pottery Collectors’ Society was entitled ‘My Unusual Pieces’ and proved to be a tremendous success. Individual members had brought along their rare items of Langley or Denby pottery, some of which had never been exhibited before. These ranged from early small Denby teapots, 19th century Langley Art Wares, and unique 1930’s animals from both potteries.

The next meeting of the Society will be a presentation by Graham Key, a renowned expert on Denby Pottery, on the Decorative Wares that were produced at the pottery during the 1920s and 1930s. The meeting will be at the Heanor Miners’ Welfare, Ilkeston Road, Heanor on Monday, 12th November at 7.30 p.m. Non-members are welcome.
