Missing man Richard Bartles

Police are appealing for help in finding a Belper man who has been missing from his home since Sunday, March 3.

Richard Bartles, 29, who works at the William Gregg VC Leisure Centre on Hands Road, Heanor, has not been seen since he left his family home on Jaeger Close at around 5pm.

His disappearance is ‘completely out of character’, police say, and he has not contacted his family since.

Mr Bartles is around 5ft 10 inch tall, of medium build, with short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt with an ‘Iron Man’ logo, blue jeans, grey trainers and a grey duffle coat.

Officers believe Mr Bartles may have been in Nottingham and Lincolnshire in the last few days and are liaising with police in those areas as part of the search to find him.

Mr Bartles, or anyone with any information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact Derbyshire police using the non-emergency number 101.
