Performers gear up for Ripley panto

The Ripley Methodist Church (Wood Street) are presenting 'Snow White and the Seven and a half Dwarfs.

Snow White and her seven and a half dwarves are ready to entertain the Ripley public for three nights next week - to raise money for a church building fund.

The latest panto production by the Wood Street Methodist Church in the town is based on the original fairytale, with a few twists thrown in for fun , says church secretary Chris Wright, of Holborn View, Codnor. She said: “It’s great family entertainment and there’s no rudeness!” The performance is set to run from Thursday, January 31, to Saturday, February 2. Shows start at 7.30pm and the Saturday matinee at 2pm. Tickets available from Chris on 01773 745072.
