An Amber Valley housing provider’s commitment to excellence as an employer has been officially recognised with a prestigious national award.

Futures Homescape’s 160-strong team of staff were on hand to celebrate after the organisation was awarded the Investors in People Silver Standard, a level of recognition received by fewer than 600 organisations across the whole of the UK every year.

The award recognises how Futures Homescape has transformed its business through the efforts, support and motivation of its employees.

Executive director Paul Parkinson said: “Ensuring staff members feel positive about their work within the organisation is a key priority to us. We want colleagues to achieve personal growth, develop their careers with us and ultimately deliver better services. We are delighted to receive this prestigious endorsement of the investment we have made in our team.”

Investors in People considers how employers work with, lead, reward, recognise and develop staff. Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “Achieving the Investors in People Silver standard is is the sign of a company which is very committed to good people management practice and we’d like to congratulate Daventry & District Housing on their achievement.”
