The Ripley and Heanor News has handed over all the cash you have been collecting for our Jubilee Jam Jars appeal to Amber Valley Borough Council this week.

Since May you have been scouring your houses for loose coppers to help fund a leafy tribute to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee for the town.

And on Monday we presented the whopping £528 you raised to make that happen over to deputy leader of the council Simon Gladwin.
