Missing girl is found safe

Luminita Dumitru left her home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on 11 August 2012 and has been missing for nearly three months.

A 14-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Ilkeston nearly three months ago has been found safe and well.

Luminita Dumitru left her home in the town on 11 August to travel to Nottingham, where she previously lived.

After not being seen or heard from since then, police revealed they were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

But she was found in Nottingham safe and well this Sunday leading officers to call off their search.
