Mini-bus volunteer search is launched

Amber Valley Council for Voluntary Service is looking a volunteer mini-bus driver.

A driver is needed to  ferry around up to 15 elderly  people as part of trips and events aimed at improving their lives.

A spokesman for the CVS said: “If you could spare some time to drive the residents to their location and perhaps join in the activity or day out with them then, please get in touch.”

The CVs is also looking for a swimming and activity  assistant. It wants someone with a love for swimming to share their love of exercise to help a person with physical disabilities to enjoy the water. For more information contact Elaine Broadhurst on 01773 512076 or visit www.do-it.org.
