A week of creativity and crafts was in order for
Swanwick Primary School youngsters last week as the it held a week of art activities.

All the year groups at the South Street primary had a go at everything from painting to sculpting and
model making throughout the week - which saw the whole school contribute in the making of big ‘rag rugs’, to go on display there.

Head teacher Meryl Hannant said the theme of the week was ‘the elements. “The kids have been absolutely buzzing,” she added. “The school has been in complete chaos with art materials everywhere!”
