Marking World Book Day in Waingroves

A group of childminders in Waingroves arranged a special day of activities for a group of children in the village to mark World Book Day.

The group, that has met in the village Methodist church every other week since September, baked cakes, made masks and read stories to the children to mark the occasion.

Zoe Bennett, one of the childminders, said: "All the children had a fantastic time. We got together with a group of children and did loads of activities for World Book Day."
