Man charged with having sex with horse

An Ilkeston man has been charged with having sexual intercourse with an animal and possessing extreme images.

Police were called to an equestrian property in Breaston Lane, Risley, on June 6 following reports that a man was seen acting suspiciously in a field.

A man was arrested nearby.

The 58-year-old, who is due to appear before magistrates in Derby on Monday October 1, has been charged with one count of having sexual intercourse with a horse and two counts of possessing extreme pornography.
