A long-haired duo who had locks as long as their shoulders had their heads shaved to raise money for a children’s wig charity at an Alfreton salon last week.

Chris Hall, 33, and Andy Warburton, 31, had their heads shaved at the Hair & Beauty at Slimming World salon. The pair, who work in Slimming World’s web and design team, decided to donate their long locks to raise money for the Little Princess Trust charity, who supply real-hair wigs free of charge to young children who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses. As well as donating their hair, the pair have raised over £1,000 in sponsorship money.

Chris Hall, of Sutton in Ashfield, said: “The support we’ve had has been amazing and we’re so pleased we’ve raised so much money for such a brilliant cause.” Chris and Andy can still be sponsored at: http://www.justgiving.com/littleprincesschris
