Aldercar Community and Language College pupil Roxanne Faghy has Westminster in her sights - after earning a spot on a two-week internship with the Civil Service. Year 12 pupil Roxanne, 17, had to complete six essays for a spot on the scheme.

She said: “I’m studying law at the moment – it sounded really interesting.”
