The latest Chesterfield magistrates' court results are listed below as published in the May 5 edition of the Derbyshire Times.

Drugs

Bethany Paige Carter, 23, of Handley Road, New Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to being concerned in the supply of cannabis, a class B drug. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 2.2grammes of cannabis. Community order to last until April 21, 2017, with a Drug Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement with 40 hours of unpaid work. Must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Tagg, 39, of Queen Victoria Road, New Tupton, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea possessing 0.45grammes of crack cocaine, a class A drug. Fined £40 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Indicated a guilty plea to possessing 0.66grammes of diamorphine, a class A drug. No separate penalty.

Luke Michael Alan Tuck, 24, of Willow Garth Road, Dunston, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to knowing that a vehicle had been taken without the consent of the owner and allowed himself to be carried on the vehicle. Fined £200 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Joseph Patrick Thorpe, 24, of Hazel Grove, South Normanton. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to stop. Shaun Donald Nicholson, 46, of St Helen’s Street, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing domestic products belonging to Co-op Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £59.84 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Admitted committing an offence during the period of a suspended sentence order for two thefts. Order to continue as being committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months with new and varied requirements including a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement.

Jade Michelle Stuart, 27, of Hanbury Close, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing grapes and yoghurt belonging to the Co-op. Must pay £4.50 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
