Langley Mill breakdancer misses out on £250,000 prize

A 14-year-old breakdancer from Langley Mill who reached the live final of TV show Got to Dance narrowly missed out on the £250,000 prize.

Kelvin Clark from Langley Mill, who goes by the stage name Bboy Kelvin, performed alongside dance partners Karam Singh and Callum Nicholls as breakdancing group Original Kidz.

The final show took place on Friday August 29 at 6.30pm and saw the self-taught trio battle against eight other dance groups including Dance Illusion, Bitter Harvest and Duplic8 who all made it to the final three.

Duplic8, made up of Tobias Mead and 13-year-old Jak Tuite-Leach, were voted for by the public to be crowned champions of the competition.
