Chinese New Year is to be celebrated in spectacular style on Saturday with Erewash’s annual Festival of Light.

The finale event begins at the High Street museum with workshops during the day from 11am.

There will be a procession through the Market Place from 5.30pm, where there will be a Chinese dragon, snake and maskdancing parade.

There will also be live Chinese music at the event.
