Fishing to help reduce anti-social beaviour

Police are piloting a fishing project in Buckland Hollow over the school Summer holidays in an attempt to prevent anti-social behaviour.

The project, named ‘Tackled’, has been set up by PC Chad Critchley and PCSO Chris Bannister from the areas Safer Neighbourhood policing teams.

PC Critchley said: “The aim behind the project is to offer local youngsters the chance to take part in a positive activity, and to hopefully steer them away from nuisance behaviour.”
