Feedback for future homes

Feedback is being sought on a key planning document for Amber Valley that will set out the main locations for where housing and “new large-scale growth” should take place in Amber Valley up to 2028.

The Preferred Growth Strategy is available on the borough council’s website www.ambervalley.gov.uk.

Response forms are available at Ripley Town Hall, (First Floor Reception), and the libraries in Alfreton, Heanor and Somercotes.

You can comment by email to ldf@ambervalley.gov.uk or in writing to: The Community Planning Team, Amber Valley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Place, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3BT, to arrive by no later than 4.30pm on Friday, December 21.

Drop in events have been organised on Thursday, October 18, from 4pm to 7pm, at John Flamsteed School, Derby Road, Denby; Friday October 19, from 3pm to 7pm at Alfreton Community Hall, 3 Mansfield Road, Alfreton; Monday October 22 from 3pm to 7pm at Ripley Leisure Centre, Derby Road, Ripley; Wednesday October 24 from 3pm to 7pm at Heanor Community Centre, Wilmot Street, Heanor; Thursday October 25 from 3pm to 7pm at Codnor Peverel House, Mill Lane, Codnor; on Friday October 26 from 3pm to 7pm at Kilburn Village Hall, Church Street, Kilburn.
