NRHNBE120330g2, Horsley Primary School Val Bishton and Russell Valance retiring.

Horsley CofE Primary School has said goodbye to its gardener and kitchen worker after they both retired.

Russell Vallance has been the gardener, handyman, and painter and decorator at the Church Street school for 15 years. Val Bishton is also retiring. For 12 years she has worked for Derbyshire County Council, but for the past six was cook at Kilburn kitchen and server at Horsley. The children presented Mrs Bishton with a bouquet of flowers and Mr Vallance, with a bottle of Champagne. They were wished well by all at the school.
