Hundreds of folk are to gather on Shipley Country Park on Saturday, March 23, for the Sainsbury’s Sports Relief Mile.
Participants can take part in a one, three or six mile course for the BBC charity event, which aims to support poor and vulnerable people in the UK and abroad. You can enter now at www.sportrelief.com, with the event set to start at 10.30am.
Amber Valley Village Games officer, Beth Turner said: “Let’s don the headband, get training and show the rest of the country what we can do. There will be other activities on the day too so don’t forget to rope in your mates, family, boyfriend, girlfriend and colleagues!”
