The Rotary Club of Alfreton raised £2,600 for the Alzheimer’s Society by organising a sponsored memory walk.

The event took place on the Five Pits Trail, at Tibshelf. The cheque was given to charity representative Hayley Child by president Colin Fox and past president Terry Marshall.

It was presented following a talk on the society’s aims at the club’s weekly lunchtime meeting.
