Neather Heage mum Cheryl Roulston completed her gruelling 20k Cross Trainer challenge earlier this month smashing her £250 donation target in the process.
The 51 year old vowed to take the challenge to raise money to help victims of Diabetes - a cause close to her families heart as her sister Michele suffers from type 2 diabetes.
All in all she managed to raise an impressive £961 for diabetes UK thanks to kind donations from friends and family.
Cheryl had originally planned on doing the challenge to coincide with her son her son Lee, 32, who was set to run the Indianapolis 20k marathon the same day, although unfortunately he was forced to withdraw through illness.
Not only did Cheryl beat her donation target but she finished the challenge in an impressive 2 hours, 17 minutes and 44 seconds.
