A generous couple has raised over £20,000 for a charity that supported their son who was critically ill.

Marcus and Laura Leverton, of Walton, Chesterfield, raised the cash for the Sick Children’s Trust after their latest charity black-tie dinner event for the Sick Children’s Trust.

Their son Harry, pictured with Ann Wyatt, of the trust, was treated at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and the trust provided free accommodation for his parents during his treatment.

Marcus said: “So many incredibly kind people helped raise this incredible amount of money and have helped raise awareness for this great charity.”
