Car damaged by painstripper

Police are appealing for information after paintstripper was poured onto a car in Pinxton.

The Nissan Qashqai was parked on a driveway on Alfreton Road when the incident happened sometime between 11.55am and 12.30pm on Monday, January 7. It is thought the vehicle may need to be re-sprayed as a result of the damage.

PC Pete Wilbourne said: “The road would have been quite busy at that time of day so we would ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, or even noticed someone that looked like they were washing or waxing a vehicle, to contact us so that we can make further enquiries.” Call Derbyshire police on 101.
