‘Cannabis’ plants found in industrial unit

A 38-year-old man has been arrested after police found a large quantity of ‘cannabis’ plants at an industrial unit in Ilkeston.

Officers searched the building on the Belfield Industrial Estate on Friday morning.

A spokesman for Derbyshire police said officers recovered ‘a large amount’ of suspected cannabis plants.
