The Ripley and District branch of the Royal British Legion is set to hold a Remembrance Sunday lunch on Sunday, November 3, at the Sir Barnes Wallis pub on Maple Avenue.
All are welcome to attend and enjoy a meal with a choice of three meats, with sittings at 12 noon and 13.30pm.
Pre-bookings are to be accepted only at £10 per head - which will include dessert and a complimentary glass of port to toast the queen.
The meal is to be cooked and served by branch members with all profits donated to the Poppy Appeal.
