Official Paralympics 2012 sponsor Sainsbury’s has asked clubs and schools to take up a selection of sporting challenges to coincide with this year’s Games.

And Under-16s Heanor Juniors FC decided to take them up on their challenge. Coach Richard Bell said he had heard through his wife Debi, who works at Sainsbury’s Ripley that it was looking for volunteers so the club it would be a great idea for the team to get involved. The obvious choice was to take part in the blind football challenge, using blindfolds.
