Amber Trust wins national award

Amber Trust, a registered charity based in Ripley, were announced winners of the Skills for Care Accolade “Best Employer of up to 250 staff” at a gala event in Birmingham.

The Accolades commend and celebrate best practice in social care workforce development and rewards organisations and individuals for the support and development of workers.

Amber Trust provides a range of services to improve the social inclusion and wellbeing of people at risk of social exclusion and provide housing related support, community support services and dynamic projects to around 350 people at any one time.

The popularity of the competition has grown year on year to become one of the major highlights of the social care calendar; to achieve an Accolade proves an organisation’s success in achieving the highest standards of workforce development within social care.

Kathy Kozlowski, CEO, says “We were shortlisted to the final 3 and are proud to win the Accolade for the 3rd time in 7 years. We have got wonderful people at Amber Trust and it is a pleasure to be part of an organisation that is making such a difference to the lives of people in our community”.
