Alfreton counterfeit spree

Police have warned people to be vigilant against counterfeit notes after incidents on Thursday, February 7.

At around 8am a man attempted to use fake bank notes to pay for fuel at Swanwick Services, Derby Road.

At 2.30pm a woman used a counterfeit £20 note to pay for items in a South Normanton shop.

After 4pm a man attempted to use counterfeit notes in Alfreton and Shirland.
