Alfreton burglary scare

An 83-year-old woman was startled by an intruder whilst in bed at home in Alfreton.

The man fled without taking anything from the house on Alfred Street at around 3.50pm on Monday.

Police have arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of burglary.
