Derbyshire based Engineering Company Cullum Detuners have been working closely with a local school on an exciting project which promotes young engineering talent.

A scale model of a gas turbine acoustic package made from Lego has been designed and built by a group of 10 students from Aldercar Community Language College with the help from Cullum young engineers David Langwade, Phil Attewell and Liam Eyre.

It has been a very successful approach to demonstrate to the students how an engineering project progresses from concept to final handover including, design, drawing issues, material availability and working to deadlines.
