A full fresh start in Selston

The start of the new term brings with it a change in name and brand for a school in Selston.

Selston High School opened its doors to students and staff with a complete new look from its predecessor school, Selston Arts and Community College.

The new formal uniform is a blazer and crest with the motto ‘Inspire Success’, which was designed and chosen by students, staff and governors.

Headteacher Kevin Gaiderman said: “The new sense of pride the students are showing is clear. Local residents and parents of are already commenting on the smart approach.”
